The height and weight will vary per individual dog based on their generation type; if they are 50% Poodle and 50% Labrador Retriever or different. In general, this is a medium to large breed in size, with both males and females measuring 21-24 inches in height and weighing an average of 35-55 pounds in weight. This breed always should have pendant shaped ears that hang gently alongside their face. Their shape of head will vary per individual based on their parents. Their coat can range from tight and curly, to long and wavy. Labradoodle's are available in brown, black, cream and tan.

This breed sheds little to none, assuming you are adding a F1 to your family (50% Poodle and 50% Labrador Retriever), requires daily brushing and bathing when needed. We recommended regular trips to a professional groomers to maintain proper hair care for your dog. Please note that per individual dog, their hair will vary from tight and curly to long and wavy.

Each and every Designer Breed dog will be different individually, but they all should have a generalization of what to be, and that is what we are providing for you. Please fully education yourself about the Labrador Retriever, Poodle and Labradoodle prior to adding a Labradoodle to your household to ensure you understand their health, care requirements and needs. Do not add a new dog to your home unless you are able to provide life long physical and financial care to your new pet. We recommend a properly fenced in area for your new dog or to be outdoors with a properly fitting harness and leash at all times.

Please note that all designer breeds are not always 50%, 50% of each breed. For example the parents can be a Labradoodle for a father and a Poodle as a mother making the liter of pups primarily Poodle and having them grow to be different than the general description given for appearance, temperament and care.
